Can cats eat carrots?

Why

Carrots are non-toxic to cats, but they are high in fiber and carbohydrates which cats do not need in large quantities. Since cats are obligate carnivores, their digestive systems are not designed to process large amounts of plant matter, and raw carrots can pose a choking hazard.
