Can dogs eat olive?

Why
Olives themselves are not toxic, but they are high in fat and sodium, which can cause stomach upset or pancreatitis if eaten in excess. The pits pose a serious choking hazard and can cause intestinal blockages, so they must always be removed.
If you do feed it
- Always serve only plain, pitted olives with no pits, stems, or leaves.
- Limit treats to one or two small olives occasionally, not as a regular part of the diet.
- Avoid olives packed in brine, salt, or garlic/onion flavorings as these can be harmful.
- Introduce slowly and watch for signs of vomiting or diarrhea.
