Can dogs eat groundnut?

Why
Groundnuts are high in fat and salt, which can lead to pancreatitis or stomach upset if a dog eats too many. They also pose a choking hazard and can carry mold toxins that are dangerous for pets.
If you do feed it
- Serve only plain, unsalted, and unflavored nuts without any coatings.
- Crush or chop the nuts to prevent choking, especially for small dogs.
- Limit the portion to a few nuts occasionally as a treat, not a meal.
- Always remove the skin and any shells before feeding.
