Can dogs eat cooked bones?
If your dog has already eaten this and you are worried, contact your veterinarian.
Why
Dangerous. Cooked bones splinter and can perforate the gut. When bones are cooked, they become brittle and break into sharp shards that can puncture the mouth, throat, or intestines. These sharp fragments can cause severe internal bleeding, blockages, or life-threatening infections if swallowed.
